GTA 6 launch checklist

Decide

Pick your edition (Standard vs Ultimate - or let the edition picker decide) Pick your platform: PS5 or Xbox Series X|S Know the no-disc rule: boxed copies are just a download code, Ultimate is digital-only - everyone downloads the full game

Prepare the hardware

Free about 150 GB of SSD space (our estimate: the install size isn't announced yet) Check your download speed - at 50 Mbps, every 100 GB takes about 4.5 hours Second controller / charging situation sorted

Lock in launch night

Pre-order placed (before Nov 20 for the Vintage Vice City Pack) Preload the moment the window opens (~November 12 - check the preload page for store hours) November 19-20 off work or school. You know you want to. Provisions acquired. This is a marathon.

Avoid spoilers

Mute words like "GTA 6 leak" and "GTA 6 spoilers" on social media Follow the Leonida Lab changelog or RSS - checked news, reported items labelled, zero leaks
