Frame rate
Frame rate is the most-asked unanswered question about GTA VI, and the internet has turned one developer comment into a spec sheet. Here is precisely what was said, by whom, and what Rockstar has actually published.
Is GTA 6 30 FPS?
Reported30 FPS
Plan for 30 FPS on launch night and treat a 60 FPS mode as a possible later patch rather than a launch feature. If frame rate decides your platform, note that Rockstar has never confirmed a PC version either - so there is no confirmed 60 FPS route to this game today.

Current console builds run at 30 FPS
Rockstar North's Head of Development Rob Nelson said this to creators at a hands-off preview held before the Extended Look premiere. It describes builds during development, not a final shipped spec.
-
Reported
No 60 FPS performance mode is promised at launch
Nelson said the technical team would have to weigh in before he could say whether 60 FPS arrives at launch or in a later patch. He did not rule it out - the widely-shared 'no 60 FPS' headline is firmer than the quote it came from.

Official
The Extended Look footage was captured in-engine on a PlayStation 5
Rockstar states this about the August 27 showcase. It tells you the footage is real gameplay on retail-class hardware, but Rockstar did not attach a frame rate to it.

Official
GTA VI is listed as PS5 Pro Enhanced
The PlayStation Store listing carries Sony's "PS5 Pro Enhanced" label. That label means the game has improvements for PS5 Pro hardware - it does not say what they are, and it is not a frame-rate promise.

TBA
What the PS5 Pro version actually improves
Nothing announced. Rockstar has not said whether PS5 Pro gets higher resolution, better effects or a higher frame rate. Leaked Sony guidelines circulating online are not a GTA VI spec, and we do not treat them as one.

TBA
Resolution and ray tracing
Nothing announced. Nelson explicitly declined to get into resolution, ray tracing or other graphical technicalities.
