Privacy
The short version: we don't want your data.
- No accounts, no cookies, no ads-tech. The site is static pages.
- Trackers & checklists store progress in your browser's localStorage only. It never leaves your device; clearing site data resets it.
- "New since your last visit": the homepage and changelog remember the date of the newest update you've seen, in the same localStorage, so they can flag what's new. That one date is all it keeps, and it never leaves your device.
- Offline copies: so the site works without a connection (and as an installed app), your browser keeps copies of the pages and images you've opened, plus the site's styles and fonts, on your device. Nothing about you is in them and nothing is sent anywhere; clearing site data removes them.
- Videos: the trailers page shows a still image first. Only when you press play does it load Rockstar's video from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com), and from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.
- Call It: your daily answers, score and streak are kept in localStorage on this device only.
- Analytics: privacy-preserving, cookie-free aggregate counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics) - no individual profiles, no cross-site tracking.
- MCP server: the server for AI assistants answers from the site's public data. It needs no account and sets no cookies, and we do not store or log what you ask it.
- Email updates: if you sign up, we keep your address, the language and page you signed up on, and when you confirmed. Nothing goes on the list until you press Confirm on the page our email links to; until then the only record is the confirmation email itself in the sending log of Resend, the service that sends our email and keeps the list, which deletes those logs after a few weeks. We use the list only to write to you about GTA 6 news, and we never share or sell it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and a note to hello@leonidalab.com deletes your address for good. To keep bots out, the form asks Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is signing up; Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that check. Once you've confirmed, this device remembers it in localStorage, so the signup box stops asking.
